WOYWW 351

Good morning from sunny Arizona.

This is a shot of my desk right now. Not just focusing on the projects I am about to play with but a reasonably organized space. Happy WOYWW. (What’s on YOUR Workdesk Wednesday?)

My desk ready to go

My desk ready to go

It is interesting one’s life’s ebb and flow. Looks like for the next couple of months my busiest day  is the first Wednesday of the month.  And that also means that the end of the month holds my most creative opportunities. I was able to finish up a number of items that were languishing on my desk. So happy I wanted to share my ZIA butterfly from a January Lifebook Lesson and some lovely Joanne Sharpe inspired lettering.

I like how you took your desk picture as if the viewer was sitting at it — I’ll have to do that sometime with mine. Gorgeous colors and butterfly on your Life Pages page! Hope you have a happy week (& happy WOYWW.) ~ Laura #60

Laura, thanks for your comment. And guess I was feeling really comfortable in my chair this morning taking a picture.

    Happy WOYWW to you to.

      Sandy:

Thanks I love my space. There is definitely more and more pink and white as it transforms from a home office (of like 30 years) to a art studio space.

      Have a great day.

Is it sunny out there?!?! I work in a cement building all day so I never know… and usually it is so overly air conditioned that I’m shocked to discover a nice day. I know you previously said you lived near (in?) Tucson. Will you be celebrating Rodeo this weekend? I will be celebrating by not going to work and moving (within town). Great looking work space and fabulous butterfly! PJ #63

We are not big rodeo fans here. We are up in Marana at the Highlands of Dove Mountain. Really lovely. We spend the summer months in Southern Oregon so have the best of both worlds. Enjoy your weekend. Yee Haw!

Thanks for the visit. Those are from the very beginning of my art journaling days, lettering practice with Joanne Sharpe, and I am a creative being from a Brene Brown online course.

That’s lovely, Pat. A great background. I just love butterflies!! I like your workspace – the pages hung on the wall, the organised space – a place for everything, and everything in its place…
Thanks for already visiting and for your comments. We appreciate your prayers. It has been quite a time over the past three to four months!!
    Take care. God bless.

I love your creative space, Pat – it looks so organised and a real joy to work in. Your butterfly is beautiful and I love the gorgeous colours. Thank you for your visit – Yum Sing backatya too!! The name definitely suits him. So glad you like my kitty page – I am having such fun doing it. Yes, I’ve been very busy lately and today really overdid it big time, making what turned out to be a very unsatisfactory batch of samosas! I hope to do better next time.

    Happy WOYWW,

Neet, thanks for the visi. The tablecloth is from one of our trips to Mexico, the colors really speak to me. Lighting is a challenge when I take pictures here.
      Appreciatively, pat.

I really enjoy visiting your desk Pat…not only do I admire your artwork but I love the sentiments you find. That Tolkein one is an absolute favourite of mine…not everyone has a life plan, do they? That butterfly is beautiful – I love the zentangle against the bright colours. Fab!

As I mentioned in a comment above, joanne Sharpe is a big influence on my work. She is a marvelous teacher and has a number of online classes. The quote is from her class in wanderlust. She also has a book and a companion free online class as well.
